Happy middle of February, here are some events to watch out for:
1. The Richmond Minor Hockey Association has asked for medical coverage for five days of their eleven day tournament. This is great experience for any of the new First Responders who have not attended a hockey tournament. Call volume tends to be larger for these kinds of tournaments and the calls also tend to be more serious. Email Jeff or your school president if you are interested. This will happen during Spring Break.
2. The final week of the EMR class is the last weekend of February (Feb 24 – 26th). They will need patients for exams. If you would like to see calls done at the level above First Responder, we encourage you to please come out and volunteer. If this course is successful, subsequent courses will be held based on student demand.
3. There will also be an Achilles Track Meet and First Responder course happening in March. Come out and volunteer!
